This tool assists programs in considering how their work may be gender exploitative, gender accommodating or gender transformative. It explains a continuum of approaches to gender equity and provides examples.
Doing Better: Gender Transformative Public Health Messages
Developed for the Australian Women’s Health Network

This tool outlines how to integrate sex-, gender- and diversity-based analysis (SGBA+) into research, programs and policies for the substance use field. Developed for the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction.

The guide was created together with the BC Mental Health and Substance Use system. Its enduring relevance is a testament to the benefit of working collaboratively with health system planners, service providers, people with lived experience along with researchers when defining practice innovation.
